I started with the pineapple chia cleanse to help with digestive issues I encounter as a Type1 diabetic (for 34 years, Im 45). I definitely started feeling less bloated and better after a few days. I ran out for about a week and definitely felt the difference. So I finally tried the sampler I received and was all in. The green organic greens and the revive beet are both energy boosters. and have helped me tremendously with my tough work schedule. I am also intermitant fasting (M/W/F12-8) on alternate days. On those days, I drink the cleanse around noon with 8oz of unsweetened coconut milk, 2 splenda, dash of cinnamon, 3ish drops of vanilla and tsp of chia seeds. Blend in my bullet. It is so satisfying. During the rest of the afternoon, I fill my 22 oz water bottle up twice. Once with the organic greens and then with the revive beets (might have to switch..it is such a boost). I also add a packet of my favorite water flavoring. To stave of issues I have a handful of nuts during the day and small salad at night. Im really not hungry. I am oversharing because it is impossible, for already healthy type1 diabetics to lose weight. The more you control your sugar, the more weight you gain. Insulin is fat storing hormone and as a type 1 diabetic you have a constant basal and you regularly bolus. Also when you have a 24/7, 365-day, over 34 years, with no break condition; you don't really have the strength, desire or will to diet. The intermittant fasting in combination with a healthy way to feel satisfied during the day has made a world of difference. On my off days, I still watch what I eat, but I eat what I want. I have my slice of pizze or 5 guys BLT. I had a krispy cremem the other day. I even have my Bailey's at night every once in a while. And I am losing weight. woowoo. So yeah...Im a fan.
