Be cautious when re-introducing caffeine. Many of our cleansers find that after the cleanse, drinking coffee (or any type of caffeinated drink) produces strong, unpleasant symptoms. Listen to your body and consider your intentions for drinking caffeine. Are you doing it out of habit? Just because you can? Or are you having a long day and need a little extra boost? If you find yourself really wanting caffeine back in your life, start with organic espresso or fat-burning, antioxidant-rich green tea rather than regular coffee, which not only is very high in caffeine but also chock-full of pesticides and toxins which will be especially difficult on your newly-cleansed body.
Maintain a plant-based diet. Your body now expects healthy foods - you can gradually add in foods that were off-limits during the cleanse, such as soy and organic eggs, but listen to your body for signs of allergy, as many foods are actually hidden allergy triggers for people.
