End of Year Gratitude

As 2018 comes to a close, we like to reflect on our year and reminisce all the good, the bad and the not so great but life changing moments that occurred throughout this year. 

Here at Smart Pressed Juice, we are forever grateful for all of our juicers that have been with us since the beginning and also all the new juicers that have joined us in 2018. Our journey is just beginning and we hope to evolve and grow with you in 2019. 

So, we’ve come up with an end of the year checklist that is sure to help you feel grateful for 2018...

1. Reflect

It’s easy to forget all the things that happened in one year. So, it’s important to pause and reflect on your year. Why? Simply because life can easily pass you by and you might miss some events that were life-changing. Whether they were good or bad, it’s always a good thing to pause and reflect on life and see what you can do to improve on certain aspects in life, if needed. Keep growing and keep learning juicers!

2. Self-love

It’s important to love yourself no matter what. Whether it was the best year, worst year, or just a normal year make sure that you think about yourself. It’s not selfish to want to think about yourself and your happiness. Because, let’s face it...we need to take care of ourselves first before we can take care of anyone else. Plus, self-love leads to incredible empowerment and no one can stop you once you know what you want and don’t want. Keep doing you!

  • 3. Celebrate successes
  • Every little success needs a celebration. Be proud of how far you’ve come. Even if you failed on some goals, it’s okay, life happens. Just make sure you get back up and keep going. When you do reach a goal, no matter how small, celebrate! Because, well, we need that motivation to keep us going. Maybe treat yourself to a little something after every goal is accomplished.

    4. Create a list

    Think of all that you accomplished this year and write it down, even if it’s not an actual thing (maybe how far you’ve come as a person or in your business). Pause, take it all in, breathe, and be grateful for all the things. Now, begin to create a list of all the things you wish to be grateful for next year. Take in how you feel at the moment of writing these things down and constantly remind yourself of that original feeling because that exact feeling might just be needed when you’re starting to doubt yourself.

  • 5. Make goals for the New Year

    Being grateful might just light a fire in you to chase down even more goals. The more goals you set, the more likely you are to grow in life and in business. Just make sure when you’re goal setting, make even the smallest accomplishments count and most importantly don’t forget to get specific. There’s a difference between wanting to lose weight, and losing a certain amount of pounds by a certain amount of time.

    Now, let’s accept, reflect, and be grateful. Take a moment to breathe it in. Embrace those moments and be thankful. Even if it’s less than 5 minutes, take a moment to take a deep inhale through the nose, and exhale through the mouth. 

    The end of the year is the perfect time to look ahead and let go of anything that does not serve you in a positive way. 

    So, let’s make things happen in 2019! Starting with your health and eating more plants.
