Easy tips to survive Back to School season:

  1. Keep germs at bay by washing your hands!

Washing your hands frequently helps prevent germs from spreading. Did you know that people tend to touch their eyes, nose and mouth without even realizing it? Try it out- for the next hour try to keep track of how many times you touch your face without even noticing. Scary, right? Now imagine that on the daily- yikes! So remember to wash your hands with soap for at least 30 seconds (minimum) frequently to prevent from spreading germs or catching them. If you simply can’t wash your hands at the moment, well, a hand sanitizer will do just fine.

  1. Get more rest than you think you need!

Getting adequate rest is just as important as washing your hands. How? Well the average adult gets about 6 hours of sleep , but they really should be getting about 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep per night. The less you sleep, the more tired you are and the more vulnerable your body becomes to getting sick. So sleep is extremely important! Get your beauty rest every night and keep stress levels low to prevent your body from catching a cold.
