Ask yourself, is it attainable? In other words, were your goals specific? There are many people that tend to fail at their resolutions because they weren’t too goal specific. For example, if your goal was to lose weight but have failed by the end of January maybe try being more specific. Maybe write down “I want to lose 10 pounds in 90 days” or something of that sort, that way there is a specific goal with a deadline.
2. Keeping up with your resolutions.
Are you constantly working toward your goal or have you let it slide? See if writing down your goal and having a daily reminder help you to stay on track. Besides, it’s the small steps that count. One step at a time and you’ll reach your goal.
3. Plan ahead.
Make it part of your schedule so you know it’ll get done. Sometimes writing things down helps get things done by visually seeing your list, rather than feeling overwhelmed and just thinking about things without getting anything done.
4. Celebrate small success.
Every step counts, so make sure you celebrate every small achievement.
5. Remember that it is okay to slip-up.
Life happens. If a slip-up happens, simply acknowledge it and move on.
6. Believe in yourself.
