October is a beautiful yet scary month. How can a month be scary you ask?


One word. Holidays.


Many people get excited and start bringing out their decor and others think, “Oh no, here come the holidays”, meaning only one thing...TREATS! Lots and lots of sweet, delicious treats, but what to do? How do we fight the urge to devour all the sweets in sight?

The most important essential in life is water. The more hydrated you are, the less likely you’ll feel hungry in between meals (considering you’re eating your normal diet). Did you know, if you still feel hungry after eating a meal, it may just mean you’re thirsty and need some hydration?

In other words, if you buy candy you like, you’ll most likely open the bag and indulge before handing them out to all your trick-or-treaters. But if you buy candy that you don’t like, you’re most likely not going to eat any.
