Turkey Lettuce Wraps


  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 tbl olive oil or coconut oil

  • 1 tbl garlic powder

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage

  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce or tamari

  • 4 garlic cloves, diced

  • Crisp butter lettuce leaves (green leaf lettuce ok)

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add garlic cloves, cabbage and green onions and saute until tender. Add turkey and stir into the vegetables, breaking up the meat. Cook and stir for 5-7 more minutes. Add tamari/soy sauce and garlic powder, stir and cook for another 2 minutes. Divide into 4 portions and stuff each into a lettuce leaf.
