4 Detoxifying Spring Recipes

Winter is coming to an end, and Spring is beginning to bloom.

Ever heard the phrase “Summer bodies are made in the Winter”? 

Well, we’re here to help you out! You don’t need to have a 6 pack to have a Summer body, but what you do need is good nutrition.

 

You see, it all starts in the gut. With good nutrition at hand, you’ll feel lighter, cleaner and happier!


In order to keep you feeling amazing, we’ve developed 4 easy to follow recipes that are infused with each of our juice powders to get you healthy the right way. From shakes to donuts to smoothies we’ve got you covered. So choose your favorite, and enjoy!


 

Vegan Shamrock Shake

Ingredients:


2 cups Vanilla Almond milk
2 Frozen bananas
½ Avocado
2 cups baby spinach
½ tsp. Vanilla extract
½ tsp. Peppermint extract
1 scoop of Pressed Greens
*Optional- top with cacao nibs and mint leaves

 

Instructions:
Pour all ingredients in a blender.
Blend, pour and drink!


Proteini Donuts


Ingredients:

1 cup All-purpose flour
½ cup Sugar
1 ½ tsp. Baking powder
¼ tsp. Nutmeg
1 dash of Cinnamon
1 scoop of Vegan Vanilla Proteini
¾ cup Soymilk
½ tsp. Apple cider vinegar
½ tsp. Vanilla extract
1 large egg (use egg replacer if vegan)
¼ cup Vegan butter
*Optional- add cocoa powder for chocolate flavored donuts

 

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pour all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Heat all wet ingredients on a saucepan until butter melts completely.
Once butter melts, pour wet ingredients into dry ingredient bowl and mix until smooth (dough may develop a sticky texture).
Spray donut pan with coconut oil spray then pour batter into donut pan.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
Let cool then serve.



Make my Heart Beet Smoothie Bowl


Ingredients:

1 banana
1 scoop Revive Beets + Roots
1 cup frozen mixed berries
2 handfuls of spinach
3 tbsp. Hemp seeds
½ cup Almond milk

 

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a blender then pour and enjoy!


Pineapple Chia Jam

Ingredients:

1 medium sized Pineapple
1 tbsp. Tapioca Starch
1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
1 scoop Pineapple Chia Cleanse
*optional add Stevia for extra sweetener

 

Instructions:
Puree chopped Pineapple in a food processor with tapioca starch.
Pour puree in saucepan and stir on medium heat.
Cook for approximately 10 minutes and allow water to evaporate.
Stir continuously so jam doesn’t burn.
Once done, pour in a glass container, let cool or store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
